Careful consideration went into the planning of The Gardens. Recognizing the apprehension of the ‘scaling-down’ transition for many seniors, residents quickly appreciate the on-site conveniences, which include a workshop with space to create, a fitness room, a library, a lounge and a meeting room for scheduled performances and events.

Located in Burlington, not far from parkland, shopping malls and health care, as well as the Royal Botanical Gardens, this neighbourhood is a short bus ride away from the seniors’ centre, public library, YMCA and Lake Ontario. One- and two-bedroom suites (some with a den) are available, and include full kitchens, in-suite laundry, and private balconies or terraces.
