The Berkeley Gladstone is a 70-apartment unit retirement living building with services for seniors. It is well-placed in a residential area near a grocery store, pharmacy and medical building while also very close to the many attractions of downtown Halifax. The building is very warm and inviting, decorated with soft, calming colours and fabulously vibrant artwork. The many common spaces – recreation/games room, lounges on each floor with varying purposes (card tables, pool table, TV and chapel) as well as a main lounge – are spacious and inviting with an abundance of natural light. There are also a few shared balconies and two large outdoor patios with raised gardens.
