Specifically geared to a 60-plus market, St. David’s Village in Scarborough is a private, non-profit housing provider that offers independent living rentals. Bachelor apartments are perfect for the single senior, and a limited number of one-bedroom units are available for couples. Each suite comes with a full-size refrigerator and range, as well as lots of storage.

Rental rates include heat, hydro and water. All suites are fitted with an emergency call system, and staff is on-site 24 hours per day, seven days a week. In addition to a tuck shop, residents have access to a gym and games room, and regular shopping excursions are scheduled each month.
