As is the tradition in Italy, lunch at Chartwell Pine Grove is the largest meal of the day. Located in Woodbridge, this retirement residence includes a significant Italian-Canadian population who love to share their customs and love of food. Pasta, breads and cheeses are standard fare at lunch, with a lighter dinner in the evening. A total of 11 independent supportive living suites are located on the ground floor, as well as three levels of long-term care accommodation.

Spacious studio suites and one-bedroom apartments include a kitchenette and a patio with a raised garden plot. Three meals are served daily and weekly housekeeping is also included. In addition to cooking classes, residents also enjoy outings to theatre, church services and local bakeries.
