In support of seniors living with dementia, Chartwell Guildwood’s Memory Living Neighbourhood is a truly compassionate environment, located in Scarborough. Dedicated social workers provide on-site orientation, and facilitate personal and family interaction. With 24-hour supervision, residents receive attentive care with a small resident-to-staff-ratio.

Specialized programming, dining with staff and group outings are important aspects, as well as flexible routines that help to balance structure with spontaneity. Individual care plans reflect the resident’s unmet needs, abilities and interests. Families also have access to support, education and personal counselling services.
